Very good cuisine, especially the goose for Christmas is great!
Excellent food, best quality, a chef who believes in his mission to offer the best quality French cuisine. A heavenly ray of hope in Sachsenhausen. An oasis, a pleasure.
Great and sophisticated food! Good wine recommendation. Friendly service in a pleasant atmosphere. Prices high, but reasonable in terms of quality.
You think you're in France: a typical bistro with authentic cuisine, the owner is a mega wine connoisseur and the current hygiene concept has been implemented perfectly.
Very good cuisine and nice atmosphere.
A great place!
Delightful. Paris in the back yard, with great gastronomic and alcoholic quality. Fantastic surprise, definitely recommended.
This evaluation takes place after the second visit. Actually a shame, the 3 star rating, because some dishes would clearly be rated with 5 stars. Unfortunately, the overall package is not correct. High price levels also raise corresponding expectations. Ox meat great. Boletus mushroom soup first class. Tuna tartare tasteless. Biggest lack but the service. During the course of the evening, the attention of the staff dropped significantly. When there were only a few tables left, the ladies seemed to be in their evening mode. Eye contact was avoided, the guest could order something. Completely irritating: when the boss delivered a digestif himself, he turned away when he put the glass down and carelessly put the glass somewhere on the table, but not where the guest who ordered it sat. Style and level go differently. When we, as the last four guests, left the restaurant with a big bill and a generous tip and tried to say goodbye, we turned our backs on us. Well, classic case of claim and reality.
Very tasty, plentiful and very nice atmosphere! Super friendly service!
The four of us visited the fair in Frankfurt and were urgently looking for a really good restaurant. Despite the lack of space, we were reserved a table at Jaspers. We were warmly welcomed. A very nice place with a sense of humor in the air. The menu immediately makes you hungry for the special dishes. One would prefer to select several. Main course and dessert were delicious and we are still raving about it. One thing is certain: When we come back to Frankfurt, Jaspers is our first choice *** We want to become regular guests, albeit only sporadically. Greetings from the Schwabencombo, Tschüssele, see you soon ...
Outstanding!! A visit to France in Frankfurt, relaxed atmosphere, great food, very good service
The best goose ever is here, super tasty, super friendly staff, always happy ...
Always my pleasure
super quality, fun atmosphere and brisk service.
nice atmosphere, good wine selection and friendly staff.
Friendly service, nice wine selection, delicious, honest food without superfluous ballast. A nice evening!
One of my favorite restaurants in Frankfurt hiding in a backyard in Sachsenhausen. Anyone who has visited their homepage has seen the menu: French as it should be. The style of the restaurant fits exactly: small tables, recommendations of the day with chalk written on large boards, fine wines. The prices are much higher than in the cider taverns to the right and left of Jasper's, but in terms of quality, it's all worth every penny. I just like being here
In this hidden enclave Francophile gourmets get their money: The dishes are prepared with dedication and the charming owner puts recognizable heart into this little gem of French way of life. Remarkably pleasant also for the Frankfurt conditions comparatively fair calculated (bottle) prices of the wines.
From the outside very inconspicuous, but from the inside all the more charming. Jaspers himself had been recommended to us and we were blown away. The ambience is beautiful french, the service very attentive and fast and the food ... every bite a taste explosion! Highly recommended - I can not get out of the swarming.
Interesting French food. Homemade style. The soups are very good.
Very good food, service a little slow, but I was in a large group so can probably excuse this.
I have been to this restaurant since 2014 at least once a year the best restaurant I must say good food, wine and the ambience. The owner of this restaurant is very nice and courteous he explains everything in English for the non German speaker. The meat is if top class and of course they do have very limited vegetarian dishes yet very tasty. The one in picture is a mushroom soup and it’s so delicious. The deserts are also quite good. A must visit for anyone who visits Frankfurt
Fabulous food!
Typical German restaurant in the Sachsenhausen district of Frankfurt. You will see few tourists and the attention and cooking are perfect. The letter of the dishes is written in chalk on the blackboard on the wall. I recommend the mushroom soup and then the roast step. The desserts are yummy. Recommendable!
Great restaurant and a great host!
Good food, nice staff, pleasant atmosphere. Prices are on the high side
A little pearl that is well hidden. With delicious French cuisine, outstanding service and absolutely fair prices. One of my all time favorites!!!
Very authentic French restaurant with some interesting twists from Britanny.
Elegant restaurant with a talented Alsatian chef. Beautiful ambiance - great for date night!
It's okay.
Wonderful little gem. Very good service, excellent food, and a delightful ambiance. Will immediately become a favourite of ours.
